Enrollment

School Year

The school year begins the Wednesday before Labor Day and runs through the last Friday of May with a two-week winter break for students and a one-week spring break in March for students. We close for national and bank holidays and several other major holidays.

Tuition

The 2009-2010 tuition is $5,985, or $665 a month for 9 months. Open enrollment begins February 26, 2009. Tuition and supplies fee supports non-consumable textbooks, most supplies, most field trips, admission to concerts, plays, museums, etc. Children supply their own lunches. Tuition can be paid monthly, semi-annually, or annually. Please refer to additional supporting material for payment options/details.

Enrollment Requirements

• Parents take a student-led tour of the school and meet with a core teacher.
• Children spend a day visiting for assessment.
• The enrollment agreement and forms must be completed, and a $300 fee will be provided. The enrollment fee does not apply to tuition and will be refunded only in the event that C.S.#1 declines to enroll or terminates the enrollment of a student prior to the first day of school.
• A $125 consumable supply/activity fee is due within the first week of school.
