Our 36 week school year typically begins the Wednesday before Labor Day and continues through the week before Memorial Day. We take a two-week winter break and a one-week spring break in March. We close for national and bank holidays as well as major holidays.
The 2014-2015 tuition is $7,200, or $800 a month for 9 months. Open enrollment begins February 3, 2014.
Tuition supports non-consumable textbooks, most supplies, most field trips, admission to concerts, plays, and museums. Children supply their own lunches. Tuition can be paid monthly, semi-annually, or annually. Please refer to the enrollment agreement for payment options/details.
Based on interest, CS#1 will be considering afterschool care for the 2014-2015 academic year. This would be a nominal, incremental fee for families. Please note on the bottom of your enrollment form if this is something that would be of interest to you.
- Parents take a student-led tour of the school and meet with a core teacher.
- Children spend a day visiting for assessment.
- Parents complete an enrollment agreement. There is an $800 enrollment fee. This fee will be refunded only in the event that C.S.#1 declines to enroll or terminates the enrollment of a student prior to the first day of school.
- Contact Linda Powers at (913) 722-1115 or email@example.com to arrange a tour or student assessment.
A limited number of scholarships may be available for the 2014-2015 academic year based on financial need. CS#1 uses an outside provider [FAIR-Financial Assessment Independent Review, Inc.] to assess financial need. This organization ensures a confidential, standardized method to award scholarships. If you are interested in applying, please read these instructions. There is a $30 fee to apply. Beginning February 3, 2014, you may apply online at www.fairapp.com. If you prefer to submit a paper application, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request an application.
